The first picture is of Mexican oregano. This was located in the herb garden. The herb garden has a variety of different types of herbs. Before you enter the garden there is a sign the goes over the different types of herbs and where they can be grown. The second picture I took was of the rose garden. The arboretum has grown several different types of roses. I found that sign to be very informative because it gives visitors some background information on roses. Until I read that sign I had no idea that there were so many different types of roses. . The arboretum offers many beautiful scenic areas that students can appreciate and learn from. It is great place to take your class because its informative and the students can get to observe the beauty of nature.
